Heavenly Father Jehovah, You create life to be a process of growing and becoming.  Learning how to live becomes a life-long journey.  Just when I think I have arrived at the place where You will surely have me stay, change happens and I am prodded to go further.

As You call me to keep moving and growing, I abide by the guidelines You offer in Your word.  I lead a quiet life focused on You.  I mind my own business and strive to earn the respect of other people by working hard.  And each day I renew my commitment to walk in Your Will.

Heavenly Father Jehovah, thank You for the abilities You have bestowed on me. Along my journey, I have faced times of ignoring, neglecting, and abusing my gifts. Forgive me for those times of ignorance. I do not want to disregard Your will in my life. I want to claim it and apply Your truth in all circumstances. I know this will involve using my abilities to server You and other people. Show me those gifts I have yet to discover. Show me the way to utilize the abilities I have acknowledged.
