]]> “On this day, atonement will be made for you, and you will be cleansed from all your sins in the Lord’s presence. It will be a Sabbath day of total rest, and you will spend the day in fasting.” Leviticus 16:30-31 NLT

Heavenly Father Yahweh, lead our spirits in the exercise of rest today. We feel a bit anxious, and our minds keep visiting all of the tasks we have to do. But we long to rediscover the practice of the Sabbath. The World teaches us that we will fall behind or lose our place if we take time to just “be.” But you call us to take time out for renewal.

My we use our determination to schedule our days to serve the purpose of the Sabbath. Lead us to be diligent in this discipline. We pray that we will learn to rest in You. This we pray in Jesus name, Amen.
